Raj Rai is an artist and designer based in Leicester, holding a BA Hons in Fine Art from De Montfort University. With over two decades of experience in the events industry, Raj has built a successful design career but turned to art during the COVID lockdown as a much-needed antidote to his professional life. His art practice has since become a space for inner exploration, allowing him to dive into the nuances between feelings and thoughts. Raj’s work serves as a meditative reflection on memory and loss, providing him with a unique creative outlet that contrasts with the demands of his design career.
